About me

Hmm, I don’t know exactly what you want to know about me, so I’ll try to cover all the important bits.

As you have probably already found out, I’m Camilla. I’m 25 and have been working with games since 2005. After a quick stint in game art, I jumped over to game design, and that has been my main focus since.

Among the projects I have participated are: several advergame and game-based learning projects for Brazilian clients (more than I can hope to name); ten mobile games for Samsung; three mobile games and one iPhone game; and currently I am working on an educational gaming platform which is kind of a mix between casual games, a social game and a virtual world. It’s pretty exciting.

I speak four languages in varying degrees of proficiency: Portuguese (native), English (fluent), French and Spanish (both intermediate, but I’m working on them ;D). I have a bachelor’s degree in Design and am currently a Masters’ student. My research focus is on social games.

Among my favorite games are Ico, the Pokémon series (it’s like a drug!), the Harvest Moon series, Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana. But I do lots of other stuff besides gaming, and those stuff usually involve either books or some sort of manual craft. Or making cookies.

If there’s anything I haven’t covered and you’d like to know, you can ask me directly!
